Kate Swift is a creative artist, her main medium is photography. She was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Kate was introduced to the darkroom, made her own pin hole camera, and won 1st place in a high school photography contest. She's been continuing her photography education ever since.
She now lives in San Francisco, CA and is a third year photography major at the Academy of Art University. Kate’s photographic interests are mostly surrounded in Fashion Editorials and Fine Art; she explores her emotions and spirituality through her conceptual fine art series. Kate shoots both in studio and on location; Kate also creates compositions through the manipulation of Photoshop and other post processing applications.
Kate is a member of the American Photographers Artists organization. She is always open to working with new people who have new ideas. Currently she is working on merging her expressionistic fine art concepts with her fashion portfolio.
